Barcelona – by the sea

This is smooth skate along the famous Barcelona beach.

But you have to be very careful, I almost died twice.  First time i almost died laughing on all the ridiculous electric scootery things people can rent to try to go around the city, usually on guided tours. One was like electric scooter and home chair conceived an offspring inside Fukushima nuclear reactor. And the other like Pat a Mat trying to build flying carpet out of wheelbarrow and RC car. Later i was almost ran over by a i-dont-know-what-i-m-doing-on-that-thing-but-probably-the-best-i-can-do-is-to-grab-on-those-handels turist. I wasn’t laughing any more.

There are 2 skating parks along the way and some nice spots to do some tricks. You can see them here:

Barcelona – around the city

With lots of wide streets, bike lanes and pavements, flat paths, hills and skating parks Barcelona is perfect city for skating vacation. It is not a coincidence that lots of Powerslide promo videos are shot there.

This is really nice overview what Barcelona has to offer.

More videos are at the bottom.

Valencia – by the sea

At the start there is a nice open place with roof to skate, try new tricks, hang with other skaters from Valencia. And some skaters meet there to go on a skate by the sea.

You can also explore F1 track. And see some abandoned American Cup buildings.

There is a lot of sand on the beach, so take care of your bearings. And on the pavement surface is designed to prevent inline skating and using scooters. And they did very good job with that.

So if you want some speed, bus lane is your only option.
